Update on Garbage Collection (June 11, 2020)

Garbage collection will continue to take place every Monday and recycling is still every second Thursday.  The use of garbage containers is now permitted – everyone is encouraged to clean the containers and their hands after use in order to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. The 3 bag limit is still in place. Garbage MUST be in bags and not loose in cans. Garbage not bagged properly, too heavy to lift or that breaks open with too much weight will be left behind.  All residents are to have their garbage out by 8:00 am whether they are in Kearns, Virginiatown or North-Virginiatown.

The Township of McGarry would like to thank you for your patience during this unprecedented time.
